TJJ Academy holds regular Adult and Kids Gi and No-Gi Jiu Jitsu classes at Parklane Shopping Mall.

Coach James is a black belt under Professor Alexsandro 'Leke' Machado from Checkmat BJJ. Coach James started Jiu Jitsu in his later years of adulthood, and became a seasoned competitor, winning several international competitions in the Master's division. Coach James is well known for his spider and closed guard attacks, using technique to overcome size and strength disadvantages. For the older grappler looking to start your journey, Coach James is the perfect role model for you!

Professor Kenneth Tan is a black belt under 3rd degree black belt Professor Jason Hunt (Co-owner of the renowned Meraki BJJ in USA), and Professor 'Muujig' Altantugs, one of the top competitors in Asia. With over 12 years of experience, Prof Kenneth represents Singapore as a national athlete. His passion for Jiu Jitsu extends into helping students benefit from the sport, both on and off the mats.

Coach Ben is a purple belt under Professor 'Muujig' Altantugs. Starting his Jiu Jitsu journey in Arizona, USA in 2018, Coach Ben is the epitome of the competitive hobbyist. Under the tutelage of several good coaches, Coach Ben developed a unique style of Jiu Jitsu concept teachings that are simple, understandable and repeatable. Balancing a full time job, wife and two kids, Coach Ben firmly believes that Jiu Jitsu is for everyone, competitor and hobbyist alike.
